Ron English’s Abraham Obama monotone painting (reproduction shown below) was originally commissioned by William Kerr, owner of Gallery XIV in Boston, for the “A Politic” show and later became a series of Warholesque rainbow-hued posters. This subtle yet powerfully thought-provoking image will soon be available as a vinyl bust in several colors.
